Jobs for Life
The Salvation Army has partnered with First Baptist Church of Durham to bring this 8 week (16 classes) course, which offers a unique solution to poverty and joblessness in communities and for individuals across the country. JFL is a non-profit organization that equips Christ-centered churches and organizations to provide hope to those who struggle with finding and keeping employment. Through a strategy that combines work readiness training, Biblical principles, and volunteer mentoring, JFL equips individual churches and organizations to lead JFL training class which teaches unemployed and underemployed individuals biblical principles concerning work and the ways those principles are applied in the marketplace.
