Holiday Food for Visual Impaired & Elderly
Each year the Salvation Army works with those in our community who are visual impaired as well as the elderly at both JFK and Henderson Towers. Qualifying individuals receive food baskets or a food voucher at Thanksgiving and/or Christmas.
Thanksgiving Food Assistance
In 2012, the Salvation Army will be working with the Durham, Orange and Person county social service departments to provide families with a Thanksgiving meal. These families will be identified through social service, with a goal or serving 50 families per county. Please contact your local social service department for further details.
If you are an individual/company who would like to donate any of the items below or would like to coordinate a holiday food drive, please contact Martin Banning at 919-730-4646 or martin.banning@uss.salvationarmy.org.
