Worship
"The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."
Galatians 5:6 (TNIV)
From the beginning, The Salvation Army has been motivated primarily by a love for God and a desire to serve mankind. Now, over 140 years later that motivation has not changed. As a nationally recognized denomination within the Christian Church, Salvation Army congregations gather each Sunday for worship and fellowship in many cities throughout the Carolinas.
The Salvation Army of Durham, Orange, and Person Counties offers services in English and Spanish on Sunday at our Corps Community Center chapel, 909 Liberty Street, Durham. Other worship, prayer, and service opportunities occur throughout the week.
