Donate Goods
For our Thrift Store
Donations of gently-used clothing, furniture, and a host of other goods supports our community with low-cost family basics and the sales also support local programs.
You may bring your items directly to the Salvation Army family/thrift store, 3167 Hillsborough Road, Durham (next to National Pawn, near the reservoir).
You may schedule a pick up of larger items. We accept donations of furniture, appliances, and many other items. To schedule a pick up, call: (919) 384-7130.
Food Donations
Donations of food -- especially pantry basics -- help The Salvation Army serve people in need. Donations of prepared food provide special treats to the children at our Boys & Girls Club and other community events. Clubs, churches, schools, and businesses are welcome to organize food drives to support The Salvation Army. Call (919) 688-7306.
Automobile Donations
Proceeds from the sale of your donated automobile are used to help fund The Salvation Army's programs in our area. Please be aware that in order to obtain the best return for your vehicle, a sale may take several months. To donate an automobile, please call 1-877-503-4483.
