The Arts

These  programs enable youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts, crafts, performing arts, and creative writing.

Practicing

Music Instruction Program

Children may take piano or trumpet (cornet) lessons weekly, with access to a piano practice lab onsite and the home use of a cornet awarded upon progress. A Summer Music Conservatory sponsored by The Salvation Army provides access to top instructors from the nation's symphonies and opera companies with scholarships available.

Fine Arts Exhibit Program

This program encourages artistic expression among all Club members through drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media, and sculpture displayed at local and regional exhibits.
