Volunteer Opportunities

Center of Hope

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Center of Hope. We have the following volunteer opportunities available:

Aiding the front desk with telephone calls 8-5pm Monday - Friday

Tutoring children after school in the Boy’s & Girl’s Club 4-6p Monday - Thursday

Assisting adults in the Computer Lab, mornings & early evenings Monday - Friday

Assisting our Education Coordinator with the Employment Readiness and Retention Class
Monday - Friday 9 am - 12 pm

Assisting the staff with pre-school age children in the Mother’s Morning Out Program
Monday - Friday 9 am - 12:30 pm

Organizing teen activities Monday - Friday after 7 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday, flexible times

Providing/serving a meal in the kitchen Monday - Sunday 6 am - 8 am or 12 pm - 1pm or 4 pm - 6pm

Volunteer Orientations

Volunteer orientations are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:00 pm at the Center of Hope.

All volunteers, except those volunteering in the kitchen, must attend an orientation and submit a completed volunteer application which includes a criminal background check. Volunteer are invited to complete an application and criminal background consent prior to an orientation. Completed forms will be collected at orientation.
