Client Requirements

The Salvation Army staff is prepared to assist and guide you, but your success ultimately depends on how hard you are willing to work.

The Center of Hope is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Intake hours are from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm each day. Intakes after 10:00 pm are available with a police escort to ensure the safety of our residents and staff.

We provide services to anyone who self-reports as homeless. No ID is required during intake.

The Center of Hope is open to all women. Girls of any age and boys up to the age of 17 are welcome with their mothers. For families with boys over the age of 17, our case managers will provide assistance securing housing with one of our community partners.

Orientation and assessments are on Mondays and Thursdays at 8:30 am in the Social Service lounge. All residents must attend a session within five days of their check in date. An assessment is a meeting with a case manager to assess needs, assists with referrals and set up a service plan to move towards self sufficiency. Case managers are assigned to work one-on-one with residents who stay longer than five days to develop a person-centered service plan which focuses on income, housing and health.
