We are more than just the bell ringers at Christmas, or the Family (Thrift) Stores you see around town.
The Salvation Army of Greater Charlotte administers programs and services designed to restore broken lives, build healthy relationships, develop life skills, and encourage people of all ages.
In Mecklenburg County alone, more than 91,500 citizens live at or below the poverty line. Fifteen percent of these are children. Twenty-seven percent of households in poverty are headed by a single mother. We work every day to meet the needs of our community.
