Charlotte Firefighters Donate $6,000
In response to the recent theft of several kettles from one of the Charlotte offices of The Salvation Army, The Charlotte Professional Firefighters Association has donated $6,000. Salvation Army officials had estimated that approximately $4,000 had been stolen and are grateful for the generosity of the CFFA with both the uncertainly of how a troubled economy would affect donations and an greatly increased need over years past.
