Donate Goods

The Salvation Army appreciates donations of lightly-worn clothing and a host of other goods. The sale of these items goes directly to fund our Adult Rehabilitation Center.

To make a donation of goods feel free to bring your items to your local Salvation Army Family (Thrift) Store.

Have larger items that you want to donate? We accept donations of furniture, appliances, and many other things and would be glad to schedule a time when our personnel can come to pick up these large donations. To schedule a pick up, call 704.332.1171.

Center of Hope

The Center of Hope continually needs the following items.

  • Fresh fruit and vegetables
  • Bus passes
  • Diapers and baby wipes (all sizes)
  • Baby formula and food
  • New towels and washcloths
  • New twin-size bedding, including pillows, pillowcases, sheets, and blankets
  • 60-gallon trash bags for clothing storage
  • Baby changing tables
  • Small cribs, including crib sheets and blankets
  • Ironing boards
  • Flat irons
  • Feminine products
  • Toiletries, including shampoo, soap, and deodorant

Christmas Gifts

Without the generosity of our donors, we couldn't have provided children with 53,568 toys and 18,073 shut-ins with gifts in 2009.
