After-School Enrichment Program
Ages
For children ages 6-13 who are enrolled in grades K through 8th
Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 6:00pm
7:30am - 6:00pm on minor holidays and teacher work days (weather permitting)
We are also open for early dismisal days.
For minor holidays and teacher work days, you must sign up in advance.

Transportation
Transportation is available from Asheville City Schools and some Buncombe County Schools at no charge. Seats are available on a limited basis. We currently are serving the following schools:

Drop Off & Pick Up
If you drop your child off for After School, you must walk in and sign in your child daily at the front counter. You will need to make contact with staff, letting them know your child is here.
Your child must be signed out by an authorized adult each day at the front counter. The staff may have a report of your child’s day so you should seek out your child’s group leader before leaving. Never pick up your child without informing their group leader or someone on staff.
Snacks
A snack will be provided each day. The snack will be served at 4 pm. If your child is not present during snack time, you will need to make arrangements for your child’s nutritional needs. Please refer to the calendars on the bulletin board for snack menus. We ask that you do not send snacks unless your child is allergic to a certain food or drink that is being served. When there is a full day, we ask you to send a nutritious bagged lunch with your child. No refrigeration or heating is available, so have your child bring a lunch that does not require either refrigeration or heating.
Fee Policy
The registration fee for afterschool is $25. Child Care Vouchers are accepted and scholarhips may be obtained to assist with the weekly tuition cost. If your child or children attended any of our other programs, any past due fees must be paid in full before your child can be registered and begin the After School Program.
Fees must be paid at least one week in advance: Monday - Thursday, from 3:00pm - 6:00pm. We will accept cash, check, or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, and Discover). Attendance lists will be made on Fridays and if your child has not been paid for (and arrangements have not been made), he or she will not be expected to attend the following week and may be dropped from the program. If payments/arrangements are not made before 6 pm on Friday, the child may not return until the payment is made in full, including a $5 late payment fee.
