The Salvation Army of Anderson's 2011 Thanksgiving Program
This year the Salvation Army of Anderson will be assistanting families in need by providing Thanksgiving meals for them to cook in their own homes.
We will be taking applications on the following dates:
Monday October 31
9:00 am - 11:30 am and in the afternoon from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Those wishing to apply for this program will need to bring the following:
- Picture ID for everyone in household 18 and over.
- Proof of income for the last month for all members in household
- Proof of expenses for the last month
- Any other pertinent documentation you feel needs to be considered.
Bills must be in the name of adults in the household seeking assistance. Examples of Bills:
- Rent/Mortgage
- Electric/Gas/Water/Phone/Cable/Water
- Medical bill you pay each month
- Child Support/Alimony
- Auto Payment/Insurance
- Medical Insurance
- Everything you pay out during month
Examples of Income (for all members of household):
- Job Wages for the last month
- Social Security Benefits/Disability
- Child Support/Alimony
- Food Stamps/FI
- Utility Checks
- Printout statements for Section 8 Benefits or Housing Authority
