Spread the Christmas Spirit

Angel Tree: November 4–December 15

You see them at the malls or in your work place: Angel Trees adorned with the names of thousands of children in Charlotte who need your help. Last year you gave joy in the form of new clothes, shoes, and toys to more than 13,100 children.

Ready for another great year? You can adopt angels at public trees throughout Charlotte and online at WCCB-Charlotte Virtual Angel Tree. Or to host an Angel Tree at your work or church, call 980.297.0518 or email charlottechristmas@uss.salvationarmy.org. You may also add a stocking to your Angel Tree donation. We provide the stocking and gift suggestions; you do the shopping.

Magical Toy Drive: November 25–December 15

When parents register their children, we promise to assist them. However, not every child is adopted off an Angel Tree. In these cases, we rely on toys you provide through the Magical Toy Drive. This helps us stock "Toyland" at our Christmas Center so that we can fill every child's wish. Many thanks to NBC-Charlotte and PNC Bank that help make this possible.

Silver Bells: November 4–December 15

The sister program to Angel Tree, Silver Bells, gives you a way to care for elderly neighbors (60+) who live on a tight, fixed income. They also need your help with clothing, shoes, toiletries, and daily essentials such as small appliances and food. To adopt a Silver Bell, call 980.297.0518.

Red Kettles: November 22–December 24

Be a part of a Christmas tradition. Sign up for a shift to ring a bell at one of our red kettle locations. Or pitch in by hosting an online red kettle (companies and groups often compete).
